[IMG] When Nameless One, or Annah go to level up as a thief characters, the game crashes when it goes to the thief stats screen. You can click on Level button, but when it switches to the other thief stats, the game crashes. It gives a message about a .cpp file failing on line 5,000 some. Any ideas?

Yes it is the two-CD version, ver 1.1 (patched already). Even when there are no mods, Thief update crashes the game. At first I thought a Mod was messing it up. But it happens on a fresh install. I am using Windows 7 32-bit. It's the only problem I'm having with the game. Restoration mod and fix mods make it better looking, but it still is impossible to level up the thief characters. Poor Annah has not been leveled even once because the game will crash if I do!

I remember something about this happening with Baldur's Gate I, from which PST shares a code base. I think it had to do with the graphics drivers and modes of all things.

Try playing with the windowed vs full screen modes and the graphics settings. Also look to see what your system is actually configured for vs what the game is set for.

To find out what your display resolution, look at the "display settings" control panel. Access it from Start->Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Display Settings ( if using "classic view" in the control panel, it's Control Panel ->Personalization ->Display Settings)
