[IMG] Okay - the last couple months I've had an intense desire to unclutter my house; get rid of things I haven't used in over a year, etc...

I have a bunch of old Avalon Hill and other Bookshelf games: Panzer Leader (US vs. Germany), Panzer Blitz (Germany vs. Soviet Union), AD&D Battlesystem (original edition compleetely unpunched), Imperium Romanum II (Roman Empire tabletop wargame), Air & Armor (US vs. Warsaw Pact in Europe), Greyhawk From the Ashes boxed game (never used) and all kinds of other stuff that don't appear to get much interest in Ebay.

What does everyone think? Is this stuff obsolete? Toss it? Sell it? Hoard it for 20 more years?!?! Any suggestions?

If anyone's interested in buying them, PM me. No reasonable offers refused. If you want I can take a picture of them too...

Quite nice stuff. I'd say hold on to them, someone might be interested in buying. And even if you don't want it and nobody's wanting to buy, you could give them away instead of just throwing away.

Personally, I would hoard them, but that's just me.

I'd have to agree with the consensus here. Hold on to it.

Are you ever likely to play them again?

Try the obvious ebay to see if they're worth anything.

So where are you living these days, Sir Bel? Velcro and I are still in the market for an RP/general gaming group that could meet at our house...

My "vault" is not quite that bad...I don't know, for some reason, I want to reduce the amount of stuff that I have.

Rally - I'm in Harrisburg, PA. IIrc, about 2 hours west of you. I don't play much anymore...If anything, I log into NWN or NWN2 to play online...

I'm a compulsive hoarder, so if it were me I'd keep it for another 20 years, even if I know I'll never play it again.

Though strangely enough very few things end up going untouched for too long. I do have the habit of digging out things I've not seen for a decade and almost forgot I had.

Trade them for money, which can then be used to go out and get wrecked. What good is some old crappy game sitting on your shelf?

There are really only two table top games I play with any regularity now: Axis & Allies (I have the original, but play the 2004 edition now), and Risk.

The wargames are moderately complicated and I don't know anyone with the attention span to learn the rules...A & A is pushing it!
