    Can anyone tell me why you/a lot of people seem to hate him a lot? I just wonder because I love his Forgotten Realms Books, or at least so far, so....what's the big deal?

    It is a man of many aspects. He can write marevelous books (Servant of the Shard), he can write really really crappy books (His last demon books) and everything inbetween. When he is at his best he is amaazing but as stated he can stink pretty bad too. Trust your luck ;)

    [​IMG] Most people who hate Salvatore are like those people who hate Rowling... They just go along with the first person to bash the writer/book since they know nothing about it (aside from who the main character is), and form an almost infinite train of "haters" who haven't even read one book.

    I personally enjoy Salvatore's books. He's one of the best writers the FR branch of novels has.

    I was amazed by his FR books, so I looked for his name on others... Well it was a crap :( (Luthien‘s Gamble and Echoes of the Fourth Magic). My opinion is that as long as you stick with the FR, you won’t be disappointed.

    yes, Vector Prime was very good. I'm still stunned when I think about the number of people who hate the book because of the plot twist at the end (which WAS approved by Lucas)

    Who says Salvatore sucks?! I think he's an amazing author. Of course, I've only read his FR books, so I can't say his other books suck/rock.

    [​IMG] How can anyone not like Salvatore, he is awesome. I am currently reading his Cleric Quintet series, it is amazing, along with all the books about Drizzt, and Enteri. Enteri V.S. Drizzt is nearly the best fight ever, if not the best. Those who hate him, have something wrong, the are mental freaks and need to be commited. If you hate him, you really are more freakish than me. Peace.
