Will the races and classes by like BGII with extra ones? Is there the specialist classes, like Inquisitor, Bouty Hunter, etc? Does 3e rules make classes different (apart from every race can be any class)?

Any more info would be nice,

That's a difficult question. The way specialization is done is through what skills and feats you choose. For example, by default a Wizard can use simple weapons only. I you wanted to be able to use a sword without taking a level of Fighter, you could select the martial weapons feat and be able to use any martial weapon.

In 3E, there are also Prestige Classes that offer certain specializations as well, but I don't know if any will be included with NWN on it's release.

From what I've read, they are only shipping the seven standard races (human, dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling, half elf, half orc) and eleven basic classes (fighter, paladin, ranger, barbarian, monk, bard, rouge, cleric, druid, wizard, ans sorcerer). Now they've said they might release other stuff later, like prestige classes at least in some type of expansion. As a designer, though, I'm sure you could create other races or classes if it's possible. Aside from creating them yourself or using other designers creations, you'd be out of luck.

Well I'm only 14 and I'm not much good at making mod-packs, etc but am a good writer, so I think I'll rule out the making my own ones.

Anyways, will they be making new area tiles, scenery, etc and post them on the internet after they make an expansion?

I know you all probably don't know much more than I do, but I havn't kept track of NWN news lately.

Well, there's no real guarantee they'll even make an expansion. It all depends on the lingering demand for new officail material. Chances are they will put out more stuff, but then I'm also sure they'll have a lot of other projects going on as well. It all depends I'm sure on how bad we, the gamers, demand it.

I don't see this game as having much exspansionabilty beacause of all the possibilities in this game alone, now as graphics get better they will probably release sequels, with the story flowing from the single player game, but then this is still all speculation, after all there has never truly been a game like this one, it'll be really hard for them to follow

One thing you can almost guarantee. Once this game ships there's going to be SHEDLOADS of 'unofficial' class scripts, tiles, monsters - you name it. I would not be surprised if Tal puts up links to the best of them right here. Once the game ships - watch this space!

I wouldn't be suprised if most of us make them I mean how many of us are mod-makers?
I know I am and I'm looking forward to an actual official part of a game making it easier on me, and less time consuming. all that means though is that I'll make more mods.
