    Was just wondering-can you obtain both stongholds with a multi-class character in general? I've only played single classes before. And for ranger-clerics, is there a particular order you have to do the stronghold quests in order to get both-i've read elsewhere that for mage combos, you have to do the mage stronghold first or lavok won't offer you the sphere.

    No. If multi/dual classed you have a choice but you'll get the one which you'll do first. Unless you use multistronghold Mod then you can have them ALL.

    @Undertaker:
    Actually, I've got a T/F dual and I've got both the Guildhall and De'Arnise Keep. I have no mods, other than Ease-of-Use (without multi-stronghold), and I imported a character I dualled in BG1.

    Yeah, that's a common bug. Originally you can only have one stronghold, but if you are a fighter/thief, then you can indeed get both. But for everybody else, only one stronghold.

    @Mr C: Pick the Ranger stronghold, the Cleric stronghold is not that rewarding.

    It must depend on your first class and whether you actually did complete a stronghold before you begin another one.

    In my experience, a C/R doesn't get the option for the cleric stronghold. Which really is a good thing, when you think about it.

    BTW, after aquiring the ranger stronghold, do NOT leave for Spellhold or you will lose it.

    :confused:
    My Dual-classed Ranger/Cleric got the Cleric hold no problems. I figured it made more sense, in a way, because Cleric was the class he was actually advancing in.

    In my experience, what krunchyfrogg said is true, but I've only played multiclassed C/Rs, never a dualclass.
