    Jakob fiddled with the candle stick and soon he and Milla were falling through space. Jakob managed to grab the edge of the downward pointing floor but wished he hadn't, for it crushed his hand as it reset. He joined Milla in the freezing pool and Ashe helped them out.
    Meanwhile, Hayden and Mistle fought the Water Weird. Their weapons had little effect as it lashed at them, trying to drag them into the pool to drown them. They backed off out of range and threw burning oil. Two flasks were enough to dissipate the creature.
    Re reading the plinth:

    'A drink partaken in this room
    if chosen well, may be a boon;
    if, by chance, thy choice be poor
    then death will knock upon thy door.'

    they tried to decide which pool(s) to drink from. They knew one was acid, none were poison. They decided to cure up and sleep on it.

    11th Marponeth

    Hayden cast Augury. It told him nothing about pool #7, and that pool #11 would be 'Weal'. He tried it, and instantly recalled the 2 augury spells he had cast. Pool #8 would bring woe so they left it but pool #9 would bring weal. Mistle tried it, and floated up to the roof! Hayden, Milla and Jakob followed suit, leaving a note for their slumbering companions
    They passed through a hole in the cavern roof into a small bare room. Nowhere to fix a rope and the floor was slippery with condensation, for they were directly above the 'hot' pool.
    The 'levitation' wore off. Jakob tried the only door and unlocked it.

    120 xps to Ashe
    350 xps to Hayden, Milla, Mistle & Jakob
