Romance for a mistake?

the mistake that i am talking about is that i forgot to change my character back to a human when i created him ( i eventually realized my mistake and changed him with shadow keeper). But apparently, the game checks your race and evaluates your elegibility for a romance at the beginning of the game(a romance was the whole point of changing my characters race). So now i am stuck without a romance.

can anyone give me an EXACT quote of what to type in to the CLUAConsole:?

what is the race or cour char? btw - human, halfling, elf, halfelf races can have a romance, I don't know about half-orcs and gnomes but dwarfs definitely cannot romance anyway.
Possibly the race you chose for your char isn't supposed to romance at all.

Finally, why at all do you make a cheat char ? Don't wonder when the game doesn't work as expected then your fault

I was hoping to romance Jahiera.

The ONLY reason behind using shadow keeper was that i made a fighter, and forgot to go back and change his race. I am to far into the game for it to be preferable to start over.(in spell hold)

Do you have any advice at all?

I can only refer to my sample list: If your char's able to romance depends on his race.

-when he's dwarfen half-orcish or gnomish he probably cannot romance at all.
-when he's human, elven, half-elven or halfling he should be able to romance.

IMO it is a little late to start a romance in spellhold since romances, jaheira's especially, take some time to progress.

Slappy could probably help you much better than I could.

 

Contrary to popular belief, Im fairly certain that Half-Orcs can intitiate romance quests, my first time through I played a Half-Orc Barbarian. I decided not to go reading Forums or anything for secret stuff but played it right through (missing quite a lot apparently) However I went through a period where Jaheira's romance quest kept starting...I didnt know what this was and Id keep answering in the same sequence. This was just an annoyance because I mustve gone through 2 hours of just that straight, Id finish and immediately itd pop up again, I was angrily clicking my mouse to cycle through. I never got far in this romance because I ignored it at the time, think it was one of the first 3 it became stuck on. Just thought Id share since everyone says you cant do it unless your Human or Elven. It IS possible just I think different circumstances bring them about, what triggers for one race may not work for another...I also think something may have been going on with Nalia at the time but that couldve been part of the Keep's questing.

Ive also heard of Mazzy being a possible romance quest, but only from one person and no romance guide supports it. But then no romance guide will allow the possibility for non Human/Elf chars to be involved either.

The point Im making is even tho EVERYONE says no it wont happen, still try, they are not the people who programmed in the quests. They found them by trying to get them done, do the same you may stumble upon something others have missed just because you did it differently to them.

 

there are only three possible romances - Jaheira, Aerie and Viconia.

A romance with Mazzy was rumoured to be implemented in ToB - but this unfortunately was not the case

As for the half-orc-romance: Are you sure that the dialogues you had with jaheira were really romance related ? She's chatting a lot (the most talkative girl in BG ) ....
