Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having at the moment. Every time I try to run the game i receive an error message "Assertion failed in ChVidFont.cpp at line 369". I've tried uninstalling my mods, didn't work, I reinstalled, didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?. Cheers guys

Maybe you can drop a little more info.

What are your system specs? Most especially what kind of graphics card are you using.

Do you have the official patch installed?

*That error message you're getting typically involves a problem with graphics animation*

    What mods did you install?

    And so on ...

And guys, if you're gonna post, at least try to be helpful about it.

Ok. I've got an Intel Pentium 3.2 GHz with 1024 MB of ram. I'm running it with Windows Xp 2002. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon X800 GT 256 MB. So my system should be more than capable to handle it. I uninstalled and deleted every mod from my computer and tried to install it and it still didnt work. I tried it with and without the official ToB patch. Now all that's left for me to try from my ideas is seeing if it run as a SoA only install. Anyone got any more ideas.

P.S. Why the change of picture Beren?]

EDIT: Is it perhaps something to do with a corrupted registry or anything like that?

I think I might have had this problem a long time ago, and IIRC, a reinstall of BG2 solved it.

Do not forget that when you uninstall BG 2 you have to go to your computer/program files and delete the BG 2 folder.

As Ara said you could also have a corrupted disk.
