    [​IMG] After having his shape and eating habits badmouthed by a gossip reporter, Russell Crowe challenged her to a duel at dawn - a bicycle race. The Daily Telegraph's Annette Sharp entitled her last column "Smokes and fatty foods the fitness regime for Rust" and caught Crowe's ire. Crowe's spokesman called her up the next day and said, "Get on your bike. Russell wants you to go riding with him. Are you ready to die?" That's the spirit :shake:

    :lol: That's a good story. The reporter accepted the challenge. She was humble enough to know she was going to get creamed and did it anyways. And a couple of points to Crowe who did it all in a gentleman fashion.

    I don't even know if I could have done it myself... :)

    I think that was absolutely awesome. :) I admit, when I read the title Rags I thought it was another "hotel phone assault" incident, where he lost his cool and furthered his bad-boy image. To me, this totally reverses that. They were both really good sports about it. This makes me like him more, actually.
