    It was teased at the end of the Tales of Monkey Island series (I posted about it in the adventure games thread).

    For those that don't like to download games, it looks like Atari is going to publish the second season of Sam & Max this month. :)

    The Penal Zone was pretty good. Had the expected innuendo whenever talking about the penal zone :)

    I like the gameplay change they've made for this season: Max now has psychic powers based on these special toys. Besides the intro, you only get to use two of them this episode: A viewmaster that lets Max see a short distance into the future for a given scene item/person and a phone that lets Max teleport to the phone of any number he has memorized. They had a few nice puzzles involving the use of the teleportation, and the viewmaster was great: It would always give you just enough for a clue, but not too much. :)

    I enjoyed it, though as usual for the Telltale games it's not too difficult, especially with the future viewing viewmaster :)

    Finished Sam & Max: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak this past weekend.

    Again enjoyed the new mechanic of Max's psychic powers, though they were all new for this episode.

    The unique thing about this episode is rather than Sam & Max driving to different locations, they are watching different reels of a film about their ancestor's search for and making off with the Devil's Toybox, and via Max's psychic powers they experience the actions of their ancestors.

    Finished Sam and Max: They Stole Max's Brain!

    This time Max's brain was stolen and Sam had to get it back into his body. First he had to get the brain back then get it into Max's body (which had another brain it in at the time :) ).

    Finished Sam and Max: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls!

    Again, interesting and fun, but they made it too easy by severely limiting the number of locations, and the locations were all very small as well. And at the beginning you're pretty much stuck in one location until you solve several puzzles. It's much easier where you know you didn't miss something...

    Finished the final episode of Season 3! This one was called The City That Dares Not Sleep.

    It was again fun, but a little disappointing. The end just sort of happened without much fanfare; usually there's a multi-sequence puzzle against the main badguy at the end... nothing like that here. And the number of locations was again very limited which made the puzzles that much easier to figure out.
