Sarevok & the Sword of Chaos

    [​IMG] The description of the sword of chaos says that it was the personal weapon of Sarevok, and its special powers were lost when Sarevok died. But now I resurrected Sarevok...so the weapon should regain its abilities when used by Sarevok, no? Or was it connected to Sarevok's lost divinity?:hmm:

    the sword doesn't give any bonus when you give to sarevok, just another crappy +2 sword

    When he first appears at the start of TOB, Sarevok explains that any Bhaal essence he had has left him, and even mentions not getting his bhaal-enhanced sword back.

    I think if you could upgrade that sword for Sarevok, now that would be some cool feature. Caspenar could do the upgrade and give the Sword of Chaos its original powers. However, this one could only be used by Sarevok.

    Well I suppose not only the Sword but also Sarevok lost some powers when he died.

    Well, he definetely keeps telling, that his divinity and his power are lost, but I think he still has almost all his special powers. The one he lost were from his armor and the sword. Yes, they were a channel to his divinity. However he still has Deathbringer Assault and Stunning Strike.

    [​IMG] Actually, the Deathbringer Assault and Stunning Blow are due to his training as a Doomguard and have nothing to do with his Bhaalpowers or his divinity. So naturally he didn't lose them.

    Doomguard?

    I Like TGM's suggestion.

    If you ever had that sword in your inventory, Sarevok should notice it and ask for it and then it should be upgradable by Caspenar.

    [​IMG] Doomguard? That is a good question. You guys say Sarevok is one, I know Haer'Dalis always mentions them, and they may or may not be in Planescape (I can't remember, I need to play it again). So what is/are the Doomguard?

    [​IMG] Seems like no one reads character histories in the game... Check out http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/Walkthrough/npcs.php (scroll to the bottom) and read about Sarevok.

    He didn't train as a Doomguard though, but as a Deathbringer. ;)
    Doomguard are a faction in Sigil.
