Search bar pops up with IE!!

    [​IMG] I seem to have a problem with an XP style seach bar that pops up with IE everytime I open a new window, it somthing to do with www.lop.com or www.mysearchbar.com. Its really enoying me and its got tonnes of spyware on it (that my current spy-blocker cant get rid of, cause after removing it comes straight back!!).

    Has anyone else had this problem and would they know how to correct it? Ive come to the conclusion I may just have to format my computer, but due to lack of space for backing up I really dont want to do this, please help!!

    Slayer, I have removed the mysearchbar in add/remove programs. also check under your program files. you can download free spyware removal tools if you do not have any. I use spybot and it works well. let me know if you need anything else

    Nothing I tried worked. I gave up big time, I've since formated everything I own and fixed it, but had to go through the pain of backing up yada yada yada... but thankyou for the tips anyway.
