[IMG] Pretty much la creme de la creme, in my opinion:

    FPS:
    No One Lives Forever
    Half-Life [original]
    Half-Life [Counter-Strike]
    Command & Conquer: Renegade
    Doom II
    Shogo

    RPG:
    Baldur's Gate II
Diablo I [not II, although I enjoy them both]
    Fallout I
    Fallout II
Arcanum [when it's not being buggy]

    RTS:
    Command & Conquer [original]
    Command & Conquer: Red Alert
Command & Conquer: Red Alert II
    Warcraft II
    Warcraft III
    StarCraft [orignal]
    StarCraft [Brood War]
    Metal Fatigue

    Genre-Breakers:
    System Shock II
    Deus Ex
    Sacrifice
    The Sims [all]

    Other:
    Tie Fighter
Heroes of Might and Magic [I-IV]
    Disciples II: Dark Prophecy

I'll post more or update if I remember any others. Please comment on my choices and what I left out.

Definitely The Sims. Its so fun to make them wait as long as possible to take a pee!
How about Sid Meiers Civilization? I played Civ II.
How about Myst and Riven? If you like games were you have to solve problems, these have to be tops.
If you like card games, I bought this $9 Ultimate Solitaire CD. It has hundreds of solitaire games. Very addictive.
Microsoft Flight Similator 2002 and SimCity 3000 UNlimited. If you are into sim games.
I also just bought a game, Spring Break Sim. YOu design an island for spring break. Wet T-SHIRT contest!!!!!
Of course the BG I & II and IWD I & II

Forgot two, EA SPorts Madden 2002 and NHL 2002! :ccol:

[IMG] I rekon Doom2 should be number one on FPS. I got the 3dfx patches and man, it totally kicks ass now. Before, it was the gameplay that did it but the graphics were ass. But now, the graphics are on par with much more recent games, and the gameplay is still good old cause havock on the scum from hell. Ahh, can't beat it. :D
