[IMG] OK, here's the question: my Lawful Neutral solo cleric (for those who have been following her story) plans to do the Planar Sphere. Should she, adhering strictly to the conventions of soloing, kill him and use his body as the key? Or should she join up with him until the Sphere opens, then release him from her party? Opinions...?

To preserve the flow of the story, this is being posted in a new thread.

[IMG] Aye Aye, don't kill Valygar just for that if you don't want to. Just take him with you when you are ready and go to straight to the Sphere, let him open the door and tell him you can handle the situation ;)

Probably a day late and a dollar short.. but IMHO, you should do as BigB suggested - get the door open without killing Valygar.. IIRC, you can remove a party member and send him/her to a given place (like Minsc/Nalia - Copper Coronet) where they can wait to rejoin you after you complete the Sphere.

Take him in your party and let him open the door. Don't kill an innocent for your own succes. Choose that way and Helm will smile upon you at your perilous adventures.

Clerics believe strongly in Gods, religion very is important. This is a choice between own items and succes and Helm. Choose for Helm and he will bless you, choose for yourself and helm will turn his eyes away from you and his light will not enlight you on the dark road.

Helm sees all. Know that and be judged!
