    [​IMG] Okay - If anyone from Bioware is reading this...I am bitter!

    I had to start my game over today after reaching 13th level!!! All of my saved games have become corrupted!!! They no longer load, and my system freezes up whenever I try to load them.

    I've started a new game, but the saving function now seems to be sporadic...Sometimes it locks up and I lose the most recent portions I've played...Sometime the save works fine.

    Has anyone else experienced this? My pc is within the system specs - Any suggestions? Please let me know! :eek: :borg: :flaming: :hmm: :sick:

    Whoa - just became corrupted all of a sudden? Did you make any changes or anything that could cause it? Don't delete the savegames, they might be salvageable... Get in contact with BioWare' tech support, I'm sure they'll fix it for you. In the worst case you could remake your character with cheats and start in the last chapter you've been to, not from the beginning. Don't give up so quickly, there are options!

    BioWare don't have tech support, at least, official tech support. The official tech support is all handled by InfoGrames...

    I only had a few problems with the game and one corrupted save game when I first started playing, but ever since I've been closing almost all of the programs in the system tray, I have had no problems at all.

    Had one corrupted save game in chapter 2, but none since. And...I also, periodically, have an NWN user file that does not want to load, which crashes my machine. Once I shut everything down and bring it back up everything loads perfectly. I've given up trying to figure it out....I just plan for reboots now and then.

    Well, i just recieved my first corrupted save file. Not very happy about that. I hope they fix this problem. The crashes don't happen very often but it would be nice to not get them at all. The save game thing needs to be fixed badly. I'm just glad my other saves were o.k. I also notice the 'doesn't save everytime' thing does happen at random moments. Not a good thing to have in a game.

    It's a good idea to export your char on a regular basis that way you can start a new game with your char already leveled and it's easy to catch up.
    The way it's set up you can start a new game in any modual that you have completed.

    I found that, for some completely insane reason, if your having to run the game on fairly low settings, and you either go into a new area or save the game, it has a high tendancy to crash. Ive had about 4 of my saves corrupted, and since the last one, I save properly and quicksave about every 5 minutes. Its annoying to say the least.

    The savegames are sometimes corrupted if your system is trying to do something while saving to help prevent corrupting the games - quit all uneeded programs open, save the game twice, and try saving in two diffent slots as a backup.
