Starting up and shutting down question

    I d/l a couple pictures to use when I start up or shut down my computer. The readme says to rename the new files logo.sys, logos.sys, logow.sys. I can't find any of those original files when I do a search of C drive.

    I have Windows 2K Pro and the readme says the files are compatible with 98, ME, 2K and XP.

    1: maybe the search didn't pick up hidden files, or some similar system-important files.
    Also, have you tried simply renaming them and seeing what happens?
