Stealing holy symbol

i have read somewhere about clerics stealing holy symbols. exactly what is this? is this bg2 or tob?

if it's bg2, can somebody discuss it for me. things like is it a quest, an ability, an action, or whatever. how is it done? what's it for?

if it's tob, just tell me and i'll refer it to tob forum.

its ToB dood, you get it when you reach lv 25 i think

 

Yup, in ToB when a Cleric reach lvl 25 he/she gets a Holy Symbol; 10%MR (I think), +1 str and +1 lvl 7 spell memo spot.

 

A wise chice would have been to post this in the ToB forum. Then you were sure noone would mock you for posting stuff some would rather not read yet. Since they haven't got ToB.

So don't be surprised if this Toppic is moved to ToB forum.

 

Do you get the Holy Symbol automatically when you reach level ?? or do you have to go to a temple and purchase it?

 

Unless the symbols vary with alignment, it should be

+5% MR, 1 additional 6th, one additional 7th, +1 to strength.

And it's a ring,incidentally.

 

I have to ask, but do you get another one of those at some point, or was it just a bufg when somewhere around level 35, I think, another one appeared in Annoy'me's inventory?

edit: Stealing proably refers to stealing the amulet from the Talosian high Priestess during the Thieves Guild' quest.

Yeah, you get it at about level 25 or so. In my TOB game Viconia got the one for Talos, and then she changed alignment, so she couldn't use it .
