[IMG] I got my characters to levels 14- 18 and they stopped gaining experience points.
Also my Mage cant learn any Level 8 or 9 spells.
Does anyone know If there is a way to allow them to continue to grow?

There's a limit on the experience you can gain, which is called the xp cap (it's there so your character will not grow too strong). The high level spells aren't added to Icewind Dale since you normally will not play the highest levels. There's a couple of programs in the Icewind Dale section here which will remove the xp cap and add rules for higher levels. I think that if you install HOW you can go up to a max lvl of 30.

Yeah and I think the limit for normal is:
    14 - druids
    15 - Bards
    16 - rangers/clerics
    17 - Mages/thieves
    18 - fighters

I think, I can't remember as I have HoW now

[IMG] I can never get the XP remover to work. Do I have to start a whole new game in order for it work or does it start working from the save? I mean the thing says that the game is patched by my charachter stays the same level and the XP points dont change at all.

Well, HoW lets you move up to level 30. There might have been one time I bypassed it, but it's been so long, I forgot about it.

I believe I have some level 50 rules set back somewhere. Either that, or I just imported the ones from BG2 (there's some .2da file you just copy over).
