Stuck in Abyssal fortress in ToB

    Hey all!

    I just bought BG2 from GOG.com and decided to head straight for ToB from the menu. I have played the game many years ago and found the expensionpack to be quite fun.

    Anyway. It now seems like I am stuck. After killing the Bounty Hunter at start which leads me to the Abyssal fortress, I meet the solar and Sarevok. Then I clean out the room of Retribution, but when thats complete nothing happens. The other rooms still got a force-field up and I am just walking around with nothing to enter but the exit. Any advice? I cant find a way to open the force fields too. Anyone got some ideas of what I should do? Would be very much appreciated! BTW. i have used shadowkeeper to edit my main stats and give me some gear only. nothing else.

    Thank you for any tip and ideas!

    Return to the Solar and talk to her. Then try interacting with the doorway thingy behind her. It allows you to summon NPCs or teleport to your next destination.

    The other rooms (challenges) will open in the next few chapters.

    So maybe what i am doing "wrong" is, I am supposed to leave the plane, do the missions waiting on me outside, and then return with the spell i get from clearing the retribution chamber? Because no Solar is waiting for me in the main chamber when i leave the retribution chamber.

    More or less. Once you leave the pocket plane and start doing the quests outside everything else should fall into place and gameplay becomes a lot more linear (which isn't a bad thing, since at this point the main focus is on the entire child of Bhaal plot).

    The challenges automatically become available as soon as you find out more about what's happening behind the scenes. The spell you get from clearing the retribution trial is just a freebie.
