    [IMG] These are the names of Nelly's two new, and possibly best, CD's. I encourage anyone who likes Nelly's style or the Hip-hop genre to purchase these CDs as they are really awesome. Sweat features the style Nelly exhibited in his first album, Country Grammer, along with many other more rap-style artists he has collaborated with. Suit features a smoother crooning like sound of hip-hop with love songs and many other artists too. Both these lps are great and I recommend them to anyone willing to give Nelly a try. Even though many were disappointed with Nellyville this makes up for anything.

    And no I didn't get that from some random website, that's my true opinion.

    [Edit] Yes I know its a girl's name, his real name is Cornell Haynes, but he explains his name in his songs. But hip-hop is pretty much a culture but is now a genre pretty much looked as a scaled down version of rap with R&B mixed in it when you look at R&B as Rythem & Blues.

    1) "Nelly" is a girl's name
    2) I don't know what "hip-hop" actually is, although I've heard the term mentioned a lot. How is it different from "R n B"?

    I have been rather fond of hiphop and rap in the past and I can still enjoy it now and then but Nelly is a pop artist. Him and his little sticker is as much an MTV product as Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake.

    E.I and Ride wit' me (while admittedly mainstream) weren't too bad. i'm more of an alternative rock guy but i like some of the older upbeat rap songs. I liked Bone Thugs' "Crossroads" hehe.

    @Harbourboy

    RnB refers to rhythm and blues, which imo means that it hass a more "soothing" sound (i hate rnb actually..) and can generally be classified as mostly love songs. Hiphop i think would refer to rap that did not fit into the aforementioned category. (Usher - Yeah, etc.)

    I'm just talking outta my ass here of course, anyone that knows better, feel free to correct me hehe :p
