    Hello everyone,

Some of you may have heard about the Swords and Sorcery series. It is an RPG er... franchise created as a hommage to the early Might and Magic titles.

It's evolved a lot over time. The first title was Swords and Sorcery - Peregrine's Song and came out way back in 2007. It was... A first title :)

Then came Swords and Sorcery - Underworld. While a big improvement on the first, it was still very amateurish. Visually it was still in the same vein as the first one. But it was party based and had spells and... Stuff. That came out in 2010, but unlike Peregrine, I continually upgraded this one.

Lately I've been rebuilding the engine to have an improved sequel. As it neared completion I decided to use it for yet another Underworld upgrade. I might rebuild Peregrine as well, considering it presents the beginning of the lore. Perhaps as a retrospective prequel.

If you've never heard of this before, you might find it interesting to see the ancient Peregrine's Song trailer:

And the Underworld (Gold) trailer (2012). Previous Underworld versions looked like Peregrine's Song. I deleted the videos.

And finally I posted the latest news on the engine development, upgrade to Underworld and Sovereign this morning. It covers the new combat module:

The new engine will be multi-platform. Mac, PC, and if I can contain the memory useage Android and iOS.

Future updates should be much more frequent as things are starting to get more "visual".

    Thanks for reading!
