System Shock 2 Problems (PC)

    I recently DL System shock 2, after installing I hit the snag of not being able to start a new game...I have no idea why so I ran here with my problem :p

    I get the error message:

    "ERROR: Direct3d device driver does not accurately report texture memory usage. Contact your 3d accelerator vendor for updated drivers."

    I don't know what these means, can someone translate? If you need more info I'll do my best to get it, thanks.

    The error is advising you to get updated drivers for your video graphics board.

    Whether that will solve the problem or not, I couldn't say.

    It will be very difficult to run System Shock II if you are running Windows XP. I finally did manage to get it running, but it still has random crashes. In my partition with Win98 it runs just fine.

    hmmm...ok thanks guys. Unfortunately I don't have a partition, so I'll just give up, my friend got it working so I'll play it round his :D
