"Tiny cut the throat of the armed german and in the meantime the knife of Fins was flying to find his way into the other German's chest..." :D

Who had played these games? I have beated Commandos 2 on normal and very hard and I am currently playing Desperados which so desperating hard, after Robin Hood, that I am playing one mission for 2 or 3 days...

I am very-very good on Commandos 2 and it's one of my most favourite games! :)

Desperados is actually not that hard. What I usually do is actually not use all the abilities very much. I just hide somewhere and shoot and then shoot everyone who comes around the corner; you can kill a whole grip of enemies that way.

I only played Commandos, the first one. It was pretty challenging but I had quite the fun. I ran into lots of choke points where I had to really think about all that was going on and decide on the best course of action, the best man suited for the job, etc. The best part is when you actually carry out your objective and have to run like the dickens to get yo ass out of the hostile zone. The Dam mission in the beginning levels was pretty intense. But it got painfully hard farther in the game. Especially the last mission where you had to sneak into a heavily fortified castle.

I loved Commandos, it was great. I got up to the mission where you had to kill the officer in that really heavily patrolled town. I just couldn't do that.

I never played how you are supposed to though (sneaking about, never setting off the alarm) and did what Kovalis did - get into a place where there is only one way in around a corner, and have 5 minutes blugeoning (sp) session until the germans stopped coming out of their garrisons/barracks.

Keep thinking about getting Commandos 2, but if its like the first one, i won't have enough time to play it.
