Tal after some consideration I think that you should make three new graemlins so that people can express themselves with smilies easier.
1.Two lauthing faces claning their beers together!
2.A poster with the writing wanted on it!
3.A angry face banging another smily with a hamer!

    Wassa think all???
    Paddy!

Yea, I've seen all those before. Didn't really think they're essential, so they probably won't make it in. It's ok to write forum suggestions here, no need to PM me for that.

[IMG] Slightly off topic but i didn't want to create a new thread but you know that arrow thing pointing right, ie. look at top of me thingy where the symbols are, next to date it was posted etc.

    What does that arrow mean?

I've always used that arrow in the meaning of a pointer to my reply. Like "Follow the arrow and you'll find my answer". An alternative to the "paper" icon.

It just another icon, doesn't have any deep meaning. "Look at this", I suppose. I thought it's pretty obvious...

[IMG] I've always pictured the exclaimation mark as the one which says "look at this" Apart from the arrow, i've found all the others pretty obvious. Ah well, thanks anyway

[IMG] Isn't the /!\ icon a 'Warning' one?? I always used it for saying "No that's wrong!" or "You have to do this or die!" kinda thing.

And why is the unhappy face on message icons purple? (see above)

There's all kinds of Graemlins out there.

Bat ones. Unreal Tournament ones. Sexual ones.

Tal, how tough is it to code in the "Instant Graemlins"? Isn't it just a link?

It might be nice to have a list of 20 or so different ones. A lot of people use the coffee and rolling ones.

I'm not sure how many of you have ever read PvP, but there's a "I spent all my money on ale and whores!" graemlin that had me cracking up for a while...

The only smilie I've seen around that I wish were on these boards is the look of utter-shock-and-horror-at-the-idiocy-of-someone-else smilie, with one eye small and the other large. The large eye gets a nervous tick then there is a long, deliberate blink.

It's on the official Wizards of the Coast boards.

I saw one once with a flamethrower on it, torching something every now and then...

    Frosty

ejsmith, that's in by default, actually, but I ripped it out from the code. ;)

Imagine how long it'd take and what a mess there would be if you had all 50+ smilies appear in the Instant Box every time you wanted to post something... Just click on the link for all the rest to show, if you need them.
