[IMG] Need some spoiling to save my sanity...

I can't kill Redjiek Hidesman in the Bridge District. He stays blue and never turns red when I attack. I surround him completely with all six of my guys and he can't move but still disappears after about 80-100 HP damage inflicted. Also that mage Vellin Dahn teleports away before I get a chance to finish him as well. He does turn red so maybe I can get him????

I found the human flesh and the bow part.

What I want to know is...

Do I meet one or both of these guys later?
I want to kill them so bad. I wasted 2 hours last night reloading try to find a way to kill them.

Also I found this crazy note mentioning the Umar Hills...
I can't figure out the meaning of it.
Do I meet these two idiots later in the Umar Hills? Or their friends...? :flaming:

Yes, you get to meet Redjiek Hidesman later. The note becomes a little clearer when you check out the merchants' stores in Umar Hills.

    And Vellin Dahn?
I want his blood on my sword too!

    Also...
That elephant hide (exotic hide that looks like a leopard hide) isn't needed later to make a special armor is it? The shop keeper who identifies it takes it and you can't pickpocket it back. My Paladin Michael doesn't think it to be a good idea to kill him to get it back either. I tried and got killed in my Rep. :nolike:

The elephant hide means nothing after you use it to expose the tanner.

You meet Redjiek latter on in Trademeet, you also meet his pal: The Skin Dancer.

:yot: I find it funny that SoA topics keep getting posted in the ToB forum. :rolling:

The rules say that if you have ToB installed you must post gameplay questions here, even if it's a SoA question. The other place is for SoA without ToB installed, or non-gameplay posts like "Who is your favorite NPC?".

Unless my reading skills are failing me... :book:

Here is a copy/paste of what I read about the topic of this forum:

"For posts concerning Baldur's Gate II with the Throne of Bhaal expansion installed. You must post here even if you are playing only the SoA part of the game. Comments and questions welcome!"

In Umar Hills when go just a bit left of the entrance to the inn, you can see 3 merchants standing their with a fourth just there behind them. The regular looking guy. Purchase a book called "History of the Zhentarim" from him and he'll talk to you some. Choose the.. I think it was the fifth option. If you've done that much reloading then just try it time and time again till you get the right one, that note of yours should have the name though. After that just lead the discussion on. You can then:

-Be friends with him and later on bring him the blood of a Silver Dragon to get some sort of real strong but evil armor.
    -Ignore him.
-Tell him who you are and that you'll make him pay. After which he'll run away.
-Kill him outright either during his runaway or when he's just standing there and you still haven't talked to him.
-Damage him while he's standing there, to get him whine and call for 3 mages which you can then kill after you've finished him for a bit more XP and stuff.

And yes, as was previously said, Rejiek Hidesman appears in the Trademeet after you've rid that place of the druid's threat and the djinni. A young man needs your help, and as you help him you'll be led to Rejiek. Be advised there, don't make hesitated desicions. I can't imagine how someone would fall to the "trap", but I've tried it out so I can tell that obviously it is possible to screw it up permanently, or at least postpone your encounter with Rejiek quite a bit.

[IMG] Aces, you're right. Kitrax needs to go read the forum descriptions.

A warning: talk to Rose Bouqet as soon as possible or she will plainly disappear. I had to invoke her via clua console (murdgirl? murdergirl? I don't remember). From my and my bro's experience it occures you won't get the Trademeet rendez-vous with Rejiek unless you present him with the evidence.

[IMG] I am right about something!?

Well I'm very glad I got the patch so I could talk to everyone normally and get the evidence before talking to him. He responded by running down the stairs like he should (according to the guide).

    Thanks all...
