    even though you fight 1 vs 1
    the fight is really easy
    and the beholder kills all the drow

    You killed him? NOOOOOO!! If you can't talk him out of guarding the contents of the chest (so he's just guarding the chest) I think your party members will do it for you! But I gotta admit that his comments are hilarious.

    IIRC, I believe its based on your stats. You have to have so much of either one of these: intelligence, wisdom, or charisma (although I can't remember which) to get the dialouge option where he lets you get Sekolah's Tooth without having to kill him.

    I had a really high charisma at that time (21, I think), so it can't be that. I guess that my character wasn't smart enough, then.

    Its Intelligence you need, and I think you need at least 16 (could possibly be 18 but I dont think so). Cant quite remember.
