I saw The Grudge (a new horror film) yesterday, and I was rather impressed. It had some hokey bits in it, but it was rather more scary than I had thought it would be - the previews don't do it justice. Has anyone else seen it yet?

I must say, it looks pretty cheesey. The presence of Gellar doesn't bode well given the quality of her previous films (did anyone see Simply Irresistible - what a shocker!). But I haven't seen it so I'll have to take your word for it (for now).

I've heard the original Japanese version was top-notch so I can't wait to check out this remake. Makes me wonder which Japanese horror flick is next in line for a remake. Perhaps "St John's Wort"?
