Anyone see the Lille v Man Utd game last night?

If you are UEFA do you ban Lille for their fans and players and coaching staff bringing the game into disrepute and not play the 2nd leg?

If anyone didn't watch it, this happened...

    - Lille ran a badly organised and dangerous stadium. The top tier of the away stand was closed off, so thousands of Man Utd fans were crammed into a space too small for them. There was dads with young children in there, getting trampled. There was a bit metal cage at the front of the stand (surely against health and safety regulations) which some Man Utd fans were trying to climb over to get away from the rush. I saw another Hillsborough disaster, luckily it didn't get quite that bad...

    - Lille's coaching staff tried to call their players off the pitch like childish schoolboys in protest, when they had a goal disallowed and Man Utd scored a legitimate goal.

    - Lille's fans were throwing all kinds of objects at Man Utd players, their safety was at risk out there.

IMO, they should be thrown out of the Champions League and heavily fined. Then be forced to sort that death trap of a stadium out. If this was an English club, there'd be absolute hell to pay...

Why are you complaining, ManU isn't banned from the European fields yet, are they ? Because the same thing what you describe happened before and during the UEFAcup fixture Nancy-Feyenoord. No extraordinary things happened during the day and during the match, except for the arrest of 50 or 60 Feyenoord hooligans, which should be considered business as usual.

To make a long story short, a lot of **** happened, before and after the match, **** that happens pretty much on any given saturday or sunday in most of the European leagues, Feyenoord wins and advances to the next round in which they'll face Tottenham, and that's where corruption steps in.

Suddenly the behaviour of the Feyenoord fans cannot be tolerated and should be treated as an example for future evildoers to come. Feyenoord-Tottenham has a bloody history, and i can't think of any other reason why they banned Feyenoord from the tournament, and gave Spurs a free walk. At least ManU hasn't been put to the trial like Feyenoord has, but leave it to the French to come up with some unpleasant surprises.
