Hi all. I started a new game as an assassin and after starting the opening dungeon I changed my mind and rolled a bounty hunter instead. I wanted to keep everything the same except the class so I imported and changed her to a bounty hunter and started playing again and discovered she has the special bounty hunter traps but can also poison weapon as an assassin. Anyone else discover this? Can this be done on other classes too?

As far as i know you cannot change a characters class when importing them, so i'm assuming you used EEkeeper to change it ?
if you change a class this way, you're not actually removing allready assigned innate abilities, so yeah, the character will keep whatever abilities they were allready granted from their old class.

you can add and remove class abilities in eekeeper under the "effects" tab. just press the "add kit effects" button, select the class and levels up to which you want to add the abilities to, and if you want to remove existing abilities, check the "remove kit" checkbox.

You can't change the class, but I'm pretty sure you can change the kit when importing. At least that's how it used to be before EE. The result might be similar though since the mechanism was originally meant to allow pure-class character from BG1 to gain a kit in BG2. I'm not sure how well it's implemented at this point.

You can only change the kits when importing into BG2 from BG1. If I import a character from BG2 or BGTutu into BG2, I don't have an option to change kits.
