Thief/Cleric bug?

    I created a swashbuckler with good thieving abilities and duel classed to a cleric straight away. Now that i have surpassd the level of the swashbuckler my thief abilities are crap, like 10 for find traps (i set it to at least 100). Anyone know how i can fix this becuase i am a fair few hours through the game now.
