    I thought I'd heard it all in the smoking debate but this one is new: Three workers fired for demanding access to smoke-free rooms at their job.

    Somehow I suspect this boss will have to change his mind - or close his business.

    Legally, firing three non smokers for exercising their legal rights - that couldn't hold water.

    But, from a contractual point of view, the question whether a company that is for smokers exclusively could be legal is an interesting one. The interesting problem would be that the legislation in question can be overridden by contract, which is very unlikely. What if any of them would decide to stop smoking? Hah!
