Thrown Melee Weapons and Weapon Styles...

    Are thrown melee weapons (azure edge, firetooth, etc.), thrown without a shield, affected by the "single weapon style" proficiency???

    This is for a missle kensai I am making...

    The dwarven thrower (a hammer usable only by dwarves) is an excellent weapon as well.

    Not 100% positive, but weapon bonuses from styles only apply to melee -- however, the shield and weapon style should still function (not very useful for a kensai though).

    Look at your character sheet. In the far end down, the weapon style bonuses would be visible if they are applicable. So no, throwing weapons do not benefit from single weapon style (when they are in thrown weapon mode) nor do slings/darts from shield and sword style.
