    - The SwordCoast

    - Role playing based persistant world

    - So a little bit about us, We've been open for about 2 months now. The swordcoast is a completly custom persistant world from the ground up including custom scripting. (our weather system is very entertaining in itself, the first time a storm hits the city of neverwinter and a lighting strike hits a near by citizen sending him into a frenzy will make you chuckle, or a strong gust of wind knocking you to the ground, or even our custom skies.. watching the sunset over the city of neverwinter with your party often allows for some great rp and storytelling when winding down from an adventure.) We also have 2,300+ custom recipes for crafting giving you multiple options/paths.. Do you just want to hack away at things for your characters life? How bout become a well known weapon smith? Perhaps your adventures will save a race on the brink of extinction? The options are endless, all ya gotta do is check us out!

    We require 1 custom hak pak download, as well as PrC and CEP. We focus mainly on roleplaying, but we also have allowed for static quests and random spawns for those that want to try there hand in just hackin' away (not all static quest are go here kill that, some of them are fedex type quests). We have heavy dm interaction, with dms running random plots and quests for whoever is on the server as well as CAMPAIGN adventures with your regular dm if you like that path. ( Personally I have 2 players in my current campaign and looking for a few more )

    Question: what happens to your character when you are not logged in? Does he/she vanish? Or can someone just come up and kill them?

    pretty much if you are running in a set campaign your character is paused until your next session with your dm, However that being said you are allowed multiple characters you can even have multiple characters in multiple dm's campaigns..

    My players have 1 main character they play, and when we are away from civilization (under dark, neverwinter wood) I suggest they log in and play with another character till our next session. That way there is a continuity within the group and you can still play when we are not having offical sessions. Hope that answered your question.
