I can't believe I'm saying this about a game I hyped myself up about for so long, but I'm not sure if I will buy NWN in the near future. Now, before the Neverwinter Paladins declare me a heretic and have me flamed at the stake, let me present my defence. For the next year or so, I shall be staying in halls of residence - meaning all internet access is through the uni firewall - meaning no internet gaming. The main selling point of NWN has always seemed to be the multiplayer, so I don't knwo if it will be worth it. I still want to see the game, having hyped myself up for so long. So - the point - I would humbly ask those who have played the game to offer their opinions as to whether NWN sans multiplayer is a worthwhile use of my £35.

If you'll only be able to play single player, I would strongly recommend that you bought something other than NWN, as its sp is rather lacking in comparison to other games on the market.

Geez people, scroll down the forum listing before you post! There must be at least 4 or 5 identical threads on the first page alone.

Unless you plan on developing your own game for a year with the toolset, then I would definately buy IWD2. The Single Player Campaign is really a big disapointment, not quite the epic Bioware hinted at. It now turns out it was to "show off what the toolset could do." Hmmm. At least that's what the game's defenders all claim on their boards. Regardless, unless you really have urges to use the toolset Ironbeard, I'd get IWD2 for now.

    Your place sucks...

Imagine... no internet gaming? You must live a monkish existence. Anyway, Morrowwind will satisfy your single player cravings. Believe me, your gonna play it your whole life.
