[IMG] This version only run on English language operating systems!

Well, my Windows 98 is a spanish version, I have also Baldur’s Gate in spanish, and, since I installed ToB in english over a spanish version of BG2 and everything went right I thought this will happen with ToSC. Well, it wasn’t, I get this message and I can’t run the game. I couldn’t get a spanish version of the expansion, that’s why it took me so long to get ToSC.
What can I do? I can’t change the operating system, I could not get a spanish version of ToSC, is that means I won’t play the expansion? Please, tell me there’s a solution, whatever, changing some files in Win98 would help? I couldn’t find any file to change in BG, is there any patch or something? I will appreciate any help.
My best regards to all of you.

If you have a Spanish BG I don't think there's any way you can upgrade it with an English ToSC without turning the whole game into a mess.

Really, I have ToB installed over a spanish version of BG2, the only thing that changed in the game were the texts, they are in english but the voices (of BG2) are in spanish, and when you get to ToB they are in english, some NPCs voices uses some english expresions. I don't know how to prove it but it is true.
So, about the real question, is there anyway that I can plat Tales of the sword coast? What it has to do with the operating system? Please, I need an answer on this.

I understand that SoA in spanish works with ToB english. Great.

With BG and TotSC, have you tried the international patch? And since there is an international patch, should there be an international version of TotSC? Anyway this patch might help. It is not as if could get any worse, aye? Here at SP place there is a 5,14 MB version of the International patch
If you do a fresh install, don't install the BG1 patch, since it is already included in the ToTSC CD. Only install this new patch and no BG patches. That might be what is troubling your system? But make sure to look in the readme file, since I might have misunderstood something. It happens, you know.

Whatever it is, Interpaly has this 3 mb version But I trust Sorcerers Place much more. Let us know what happens :)

EDIT; ahh Now the link worked. I had some troubles making the direct link. If it failed before, then try now.

OK Thanks, I was thinking about this, I'll do this a.s.a.p., anything that I downloaded from SP worked fine so far. It is too bad that I have to wait until tuesday because of the holydays here and the ciber times, anyway, thank you guys, I'll tell you what happened when I can.

Hmmm, I vaguely remember trying to play TOSC on a Norwegian OS. I had to change the language settings in Windows to English (US) (Or whatever language TOSC wanted so badly), and suddenly the game started....
