Tropico does politics well.

    It is a fun game and really does combine politics and city building better than most games I've seen.

    Is there any other game that does as good a job with politics that you have heard of?




    Not with the intention to hurt any sales at the sorcerers related website but it seems as if some Tropico games and expansions are for sale cheap at the moment.

    If it would work on my computer I would consider buying it for just a few dollars.

    Since it won't I'll pass and content myself with Total War Rome: Barbarian Invasion (less politics and city building).


    EDIT:

    If you don't know what I mean by does politics well each citizen in the game votes and has a range of issues he or she is concerned about with some having greater priority.

    Plus the game lets you cheat during or deny elections to your people but this sometimes has consequences.

    And they also react if your security forces throw their families in jail or do other stuff.

    A complex system of handling it but I think as good as I've seen in most games.

    I love that game! Even setting it on the lowest difficulty so you can concentrate on city building is fun :D
