I just installed NWN Diamond Edition from an ISO disk image. After all the installations were done, I tried to play the game and got the message:

    Wrong disk inserted.
Please insert the Neverwinter Nights Diamond DVD

I've thoroughly searched through every file I have and the only disk image available is the one that was used to install the game. I don't know if this is the kind of question that someone can actually help me solve without getting the game from the same source as me, but if so, it would be great (i.e. is there some way to get the game to run without even asking for a disk at all?)!

    Thanks!

That sounds like a copy protection scheme. Is the ISO supposed to be a legal copy of the game?

Perhaps NWN is looking for the DVD in your DVD drive instead of wherever you installed it from the ISO. It sounds like the game is just looking for the DVD in the wrong place. I don't know where the option to change it is; check the .ini file.

I have NWN Diamond Edition as well and mine doesn't require the DVD to run. I don't know if it's a patch that does this. Perhaps you'll want to try downloading the Critical Rebuild from bioware.com.
