trouble w/vale of shadows - spoiler alert

    Hi all! I checked several previous threads here but was unable to find an answer to this particular question.

    I am in the Vale of Shadows. I've spoken with Kresselack and have agreed to go searching for the Priestess of Auril. But I can't find her.

    A Hints guide on here told me I'd find her in the cavern that had all the yeti, in the Vale south of the seated statue. I've crawled all over this cavern, but no priestess. I've checked back in to all the other tombs in this area but she's not there either.

    Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, what did you do?

    Well she really should only be in the cavern underneath the statue with all the yetis. Are you sure you actually accepted Kresselack's proposition to kill her?

    Otherwise I have no idea, never happened before to me.

    I'll go talk with him again and then come back. I can't remember now if I told him "I'll do it" or "I'll take that under consideration."

    ETA: Yep, that was it. I hadn't told him I'd do it, I'd told him I'd think about it. I said I'd do it and it worked just fine.
