Turning to solid ice, equipment

    I'm in possession of Snow maiden't reaver, bastard sword, and it has 2% chance of turning target to solid ice.
    Will I lose target's equipement when they explode into tiny shrapnels of ice? I know i get their gold, but weapons is what I'm worried about.

    No worries, this is no BG2.

    In IWD, even if the victim is petrified, disintegrated, or turned to solid ice and smashed, nothing happens to their equipment, unlike BG2, where such cases destroy all equipment save a few loose gp.

    Be careful though, if your PCs get disintegrated (and believe me there are more than one way of suffering this, unlike in IWD2 it never happens for some reason. Mages, statue monster in final chapter, Beholders, to name a few.), they will drop all of their inventory, BUT they will be gone for good. Same goes for scary Finger of Death. (which, suprisingly, does not perma-kill in BG2.)
