Very stuck at the end of Chapter 2 - Please Guru's, I need help!!

    [​IMG] I am dying to move on and finish the game!!

    First, let me be up front and honest - I have cheated a bit - adding a bit of XP here and there to level up and make my character cool and fun - perhaps I went too far?

    My problem is that I cannot talk to Aaron Gend to get the papers to get into the Tower of the Arcane Brotherhood. Gend is fighting in the temple with Alaya (or something close to that...) and thus I cannot speak to either of them. I thought maybe if the guy he is fighting was dead... No dice, I cannot hurt them and once I attack either of them, they both turn on me and eventually kill me. Likewise, if I examine Gend the description states that he looks like a caged tiger, his anger focused and ready to strike out at anyone near him.

    I really want to move on. Perhaps I have gone too far giving XP and leveling up? Can I level down? Am I to be forced to restart? And I have looked and looked for help - finding none. The appropriate adjustments have been made to the .ini file to allow me to move on without restriction for illegal characters...

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

    You could check his conversation file if the Starting Conditional checks for a level lower than something. If so, you could change it.

    I appreciate the idea.

    I ended up spawning the item he'd give me. Oddly enough, once I did - the fight was over and he gave me another one...

    It was strange, but oh well...
