Going back to serious ones, and I may be treading dangerous ground here....

Africa has too many people and too few resources. They need to stop having 12 kids each. Hell, for Africa to ever get anywhere, an awful lot of people there need to die. If enough do that, the population will be at a level where the land can support it.

 

Unfortunately, human nature takes over and people must shag.

I think we should just air drop loads and loads of cock socks & pills allover Africa.

 

English and Scottish soccer hooligans who think that a soccer team is something worth fighting over should be sent to a third world country to gain some perspective on what life and death really means.

 

Tarantino movies suck (exception: Inglourious Basterds).

Fight Club was a piece of crap as well.

 

To be fair, English & Scottish fans are way down in that particular list these days.

I just think they are very overrated movies. And I don't really have a thing against the violence if that's what you think, I don't mind that. It's just that most Tarantino movies are not the master pieces a lot of people claim them to be. Fight Club really was that bad in my opinion, it was boring and predictable.

The same actually goes for some of the Coen Brothers films, a lot of people think they are great, but I just don't see the appeal in them.

 

How ironic is that? Never shoot the "sacred cows," Mesmero, and expect not to be shot back.

The reason I made the last two comments is that I am very neutral regarding the worth of any of these "cows."

 

Licorice is, quite simply, nasty as all hell. As are all varieties of melon, Starbucks coffee, and anything made by Sobe. In fact, the only non-repugnant beverage available at a convenience store is the 7-11 Slurpee. Which is awesome.

Some - not a majority, but some - Indian people are really, really stinky. This is a complete mystery to me. (I'm not racist, but maybe my nose is)

In my experience, black people tend to live up to their reputation for being rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate (especially at movies and while driving) far more often than you would think.

Anyone living in a first-world country who complains about how rough they have it should be hit over the head with a sock full of quarters and air-dropped into Haiti or Zimbabwe with nothing but a shovel and a snack.

Not all American soldiers and veterans are heroes and good guys just by virtue of being American soldiers and veterans. Some of them are complete dicks who give a bad name to the ones who ARE heroes and good guys. Pointing this out does not make me anti-military.

The Rolling Stones are the most over-rated band on Earth and don't deserve anywhere near the reverence they receive (not to mention the ticket prices they fetch - good god).

I disagree with our countrys immigration policy and I despise people who think that I'm a racist because of it.

I can't stand 'victims'. Yeah yeah, you have it tough...find someone who doesn't and whinge at them.

The help for heros charity doesn't reward heros. It supports the people who signed up to the army and then complain that they got shot at. The real heros are the nurses and fire-fighters who risk their lives everyday and get abuse for it. They didn't sign up to get physically abused, they signed up to help people.

Atheists who refuse to accept that the whole 'infinite universe contains an infinite possibilities' thing can apply to religion but they will happily apply it to everything else.

I also despise religious people who feel the need to ram their religious beliefs down other peoples necks. It's not your job to convert people. If they're going to find God then they'll find it their own way...stop pissing interfering!

 

Disliking the Stones is not really all that unpopular. A lot of people feel they have been "over" as a vital band since Exile On Main Street and have been living on past glory for years. Nevertheless, I like the Stones, a lot, especially Charlie Watts. John Bonham took what Charles had been doing for years and amplified it X 5, and so have half of all the drummers in the world who have followed him.

Most overrated band? Kiss - couldn't play their way out of a paper bag, even without all the clown makeup.

 

I would like to nominate Nirvana for that award. If Cobain hadn't put a bullet through his own head, never would be that popular today. I do not consider them the band that represented Generation X. If such a band exists, I would bestow that title to Pearl Jam.

 

I often wonder the same about John F. Kennedy.

I would like to nominate the Red Hot Chili Peppers as the most overrated band in history.

 

I don't think they are Barmy. I think it's just that the British police know how to handle them. They can still cause havoc abroad when they're not subject to the same control. Scottish of course refers to Rangers and Celtic fans. Fans of Scotland are great.

Speaking of which supporting Celtic is supporting outright bigotry and sectarianism and is not an indication of Irishness.

"Munster" rugby is a fantastic marketing project rather than a sporting tradition, mainly followed by bandwagoners with the most superficial knowledge of the sport. They don't even wear the Munster colours, which Leinster have nicked as we're not using them. To say nothing of the stupidity of endlessly proclaiming how special "their" song is, despite it being about a field in a different province entirely.

The aliens in indiana Jones 4 didn`t ruin the movie at all. The Tarzan scene, however, did.

Friends was a boring tv show, same goes for Two and a half men.

Tolkien is overrated. (but still good)

Icewind Dale 1-2 were boring. Neverwinter Nights sucked.

Diablo 1-2 arn`t roleplaying games at all.

Saying something bad about Israel, og jewish people, isn`t the same as being anti-semetic.

Calling a coloured person black is ok.

Dungeons and Dragons died when wizards of the coast took over.

The Last Ninja is the best video game ever made.
