I am having trouble with what I think is the fourth level. (The level where you control the spirit warrior in the rooms to the east). In any event, I used the three keys and successfully vanquished all foes that materialized upon unlocking each barrier. There is a graphic which appears to be a valve wheel, and when I click on it to open the seal to the next level I hear a little demonic laughter and the game "pauses". The character that I use to open the wheel still performs its "standing still" animation but I lose the game controls around the edge of the screen and no amount of keyboard clicking or mouse clicking will change this. Also, my game cursor disappears. Any thoughts on what may be occurring? I apologize for the long winded narrative!!

Try hitting the 'H' key. If you accidentally hit it, it'll hide your command interface. Hitting it again, if that's what you did, should bring them back.

    Otherwise I have no idea.

It appears that I need to use my protagonist
to open that portal - as it turns out it is the portal that leads to Demogorgon's lair.

Hi. im a new member, and i just started looking for forums for throne of bhaal.

    (slight spoiler)
i started playing ToB, finished it, then went back to watcher's keep. i completed every level, until the second last level.

This last level has 3 levels, and everytime you twist it, monsters pop out.

i believe that this is the bug that you are address... and i am having similiar problems. i try to turn the left most "pillar" and then it just starts play as a movie...... but nothing comes out. what is SURPOSED to happen is that flames encircle the place, and monsters pop up, but none of that happens... and all my windows are hidden, just like as if pressing "h"

i used my protagonist to open it, but it still does not work.

    please help.
