Tomorrow I plan to get IWD II, and of course party composition ideas have been flying through my head like crazy. I'm somewhat familiar with 3E rules but the first thing I am going to do is read the manual carefully (well after I install it and make sure it runs. I've got 1.4 GB to spare, I hope that's enough.)

But one concern of mine are clubs. AFAIK IWD treated clubs like trash, not a single magical one. BG didn't give clubs much of a chance either. And well the best BG2 gave us was Blackblood +3, and then Club of Detonation in ToB. Well gosh darn it I want to see some real clubs. Some big fat logs for swinging. So before I go planning to have a character wield clubs, are there any decent ones and what chapters do you get them in?

Some items in IWD2 are random. I dunno if you will get them but here you go:

Club of Freezing Flames +5 (fire and cold damage)
Club of Destiny +5 (Under effect of Luck)
Club of Enlightenment +5 (All stats +1, CHA +2)
Club of Punishment +5 (CHA +3, +2d6 damage agains Chaotic)
Club of Dazing +5 (stun unless save)
Walloping Club +5 (increased chance for critical)
Club uf Destruction (as in BG2)
Club of Immolation (+5 enchanted, extra fire damage and 5/- Magic Resistance)
Static Club +5 (extra electric damage)

    And the last one..........

Club of Confusion +5 (extra bludgeoning damage, 50% chance of confusing opponent with no save, and increased chance of scoring a critical). But this one sadly falls into the Martial Weapon Flail category :( .....

Hope you are satisfied now, Big B! (I posted only the best ones, there are some more)

PS. Maybe there are also Unique Named clubs that don't have "club" in their name - so I wasn't able to find them.

Well, not to burst your bubble or anything, but all or nearly all of those items are available only in Heart of Fury mode.

However, I did come across a number of decent clubs during regular game play. I don't remember the stats, but I know I was tempted to use some of them, which is pretty rare for a club. :)
