I mean in this topic... I´m a watcher it says right here on the left (lv 0), and some are well... other things! :) What´s the meaning of it?

    Just wondering ...

It just depends on the number of posts you have done 9 posts here so your a watcher... After some posts, you "level up". You can see the level also on the left. For each level there's a name, a status. For example, at lvl 0 you're a watcher, I'm level 13 so I'm an Ettercap Ripper.

After every 20 post you level up.

    That's all about that.

Go to the following link and read well. All will be explained. And, if I am not mistaken, this very post will mean I graduate to attacking a new nastier beastie.

Though this is a special kind of level drain. You cannot restore your original level, so don't spam, Melkhior (just a warning).

Lord Praetor Munir, how about reading the FAQ? People even gave you the link in this very thread!

And this topic should have been posted in Whatnots, so the next mod that sees it, please move it where it belongs.

    P.S.
Melkhior, bravo. In the first few posts you manage to do doubles, I warn you about them, THREATEN YOU with account termination if you don't go read the FAQ/Rules, and what's the next thing you do? You post an unrelated topic in the BG2 forum. Which is Rule number 10 on the list of Basic Forum Rules.

People, tell me, what can we do with this stubborn mule? I mean, there's obviously nothing he understands except a ban. Which will still probably take him an hour to understand why he can't post any more messages. And then he'll mail me to tell me the boards are broken!!!

    Welcome to the Twilight Zone...
Seriously, this is taking too much of my time with 0 effect. From now on I'll just do as I promise on the registration page. Any newbies who will suffer from this have him to thank for it.

    Tal, just a suggestion really

on the register page, I think you need to place the last lines on the top in a sreaming pink color and 3 times as big, cuz else some people would likely just think "ah, the usual rules" and click next before they read anything

... like somebody else who got a warning whom we're not gonna mention here, hehe ;)

    Lokken, I disagree.

I've read the FAQ before I registered here and it wasn't even specially mentioned anywhere that time.

Is it so that damn annoying to read something before asking? And not only FAQ, there are numerous things on these pages but people keep asking for them on forums. OK, sometimes a person probably pass thru a text without noticing something, but that much posts alike...
And I seriously think that those ones who haven't read the FAQ yet don't also read the game manuals and that they should receive here "Idiot of the Week" plaque for asking obvious things.

But, don't think moderators never yelled at me. And it wasn't based on their hatery or showing powers to moderate anyone they don't like. I WAS guilty!

If you are warned, first think a bit why that happened. Don't say sorry, I didn't mean that, that won't happen again and such. Or say it, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you start to respect people here who are making sure that these forums work for anyone.
