Sure she's a vampire but what does she have to offer that a non-vampire character has to offer? She has to wear that painfully ability score reduction cloak.
Why should I choose her over another thief like Jan or Imoen?
Is she just to play a vampire? OOOO a vampire! Has to be a great character right? I'm not particularly a vampire lover so it's nothing for me to drop her if there's no reason to use her.
    Thoughts?

    No. Beside experiencing her storyline/quests.

Weimer's Valen is a far better 'Vamp' NPC.

Where do I go in the graveyard after getting the Claw of the Black Leopard? Once you have it you go straight to the graveyard.
Hexxat keeps saying "I hope you wont let it stop you. It certainly wont stay my hand."
It doesn't matter where I go in the graveyard or anywhere if I leave there. Every time I go into a tomb or come out of a different area she just keeps saying that.

Answering the original question. Hexxat has special abilites for being a Vampire. Blood Drain, etc... try them, they are fun and useful. More Importantly - You only need the cloak for daylight hours. Sleep during the day and travel the city at night, she is a good combatant with high strength. She is more powerful in melee than any other thief option from the Vanilla game. In the early game when wielding Shortswords, using Kundane, Arbane's Sword, etc.., gaining Haste, Bonus attacks and Mirror Image, she is downright nasty. Cast Spirit Armor on her to increase her AC until you get Night's Gift on one of the other good theif armors. She can easily use the Tuigan Bow as can any other thief when you don't want to melee with her. She is very versatile. IMO of course....

The addition of Hexxat and Dorn make for a very nice Evil run thru which was missing from the original game. The cons for Hexxat are low HP(just like any thief option in the game...) and Daylight/Cloak Necessity. None of the NPCs in the game are totally gimped as to be useless, they test this big time during development. They wanted to add a Evil Thief, which was needed, and made her unique by making her a Vamp, which fits right intot he storyline, so she adds a nice RPG element that was missing as well. IMO of course....
