The herb lady in Nulb offers Celtic Rune tatoos for 15000 GP. What do they do?

I've not been able to find any info on it.

    (BTW, I'm running Co8 4.0.1).

    Thanks!

Celtic Runes are basically armor for mages/monks. They give a healthy bonus to AC (+4 IIRC) with no MaxDex and can be worn by anyone as normal clothing. They also provide hefty skill bonuses (to Tumble, Intimidate, probably more I don't remember) and a few skill penalties (Diplomacy for one.)

I use them for all magic users, monks, and even for rogues depending on the armor I have. Be wary of giving them to your party face though, unless you have a really high Diplomacy skill and don't care about the penalty.

One thing you may find interesting/exploitable about them that was probably not intended: they are craftable to an extra +3 AC bonus, and can be traded to your crafters if you have Humble NPCs activated in your mod. I think that was changed in the newer Co8 mod, but should work in 4.0.1.
