[IMG] Well the title says it all: what's your favorite movie and why?

(any others beside LOTR that is!)

"The Omen". It's a movie with Gregory Peck released in 1975.

If I were an American, I would probably be ashamed of the way things turned out to be.

Of course, you are free to speak, work, play, drive fast cars, swear, drop bombs and airplanes; but you'll eventually lose yourself in a society that doesn't care about you.

I have a lot of movies I like very much and I just can't decide:
    • Bladerunner - (not the director's cut)
    • Leon - that film with Jean Reno, not with the muscles from Bruxelles ...
    • Hana Bi - japanese crime story
    • Jin-Roh & Ghost in the Shell - japanese animated movies
    • Point Blank
    • and many, many more .... :shake:

It's almost impossible to choose *one* favourite film since there are many great films (as well as thousands that should never have been made).

    In no particular order:

    Shawshank Redemption
    American Beauty
    Trainspotting
    The Usual Suspects
    Silence of the Lambs
    12 Angry Men
    Pulp Fiction
    12 Monkeys

To name but a few of the ones I think are great.
