When do you go to Ulgoth's Beard?

    Hey people!

I installed the ToSC expansion last week, and now have Ulgoth's Beard.

I'm about to do the Thief Quest, and I haven't yet started the Flaming Fist/Seven Suns quest that you get at the bridge.

After I complete the Thief Quest, would it be a good idea to get out of the city for a minute, and go to Ulgoth's Beard (and the place above the bridge), or is it recommended that I do the Flaming Fist quest first?

Also, when you the rest of you people go to Ulgoth's Beard?

IIRC, the only quests that have a time limit are NPC quests (to keep them in your party) and the Marek/Lothander quest. No quest has an impact on any other quest, and the Flaming Fist wouldn't even notice if you waved your ill-gotten goods right under their noses. You can do ANY quest in ANY order you want (with the sole exception of quests you can't even get to yet because of the chapter you're in).

Some of your actions may have insignificant consequences (killing all three of Shandalar's daughters will annoy him slightly; he'll still give you the exact same quest  ), but the only thing that could actually affect you would be a rep hit.

I usually hit Ulgoth's Beard before I even enter the city of Baldur's Gate, but that's just to make it a little harder for myself. Keep in mind that the addon was made for a group who had already beat Sarevok. I would suggest at least doing the Marek/Lothander quest beforehand (10,000 xp, the Eagle Bow, and a Tome of Wisdom if you doublecross the Bitch Queen  ) if this is your first time through TotSC. I would also suggest finding the Helm of Glory for your tank.

I just go up there when my Rep hits 20, and I have a lot of cash to spend. There are some great things up there to buy, and there also some very deep pockets to pick!

Last time I played the game I completed all but Werewolf island before I enter Cloakwood mines, in one of my previous post I was correct on how you can't complete Werewolf island because you an item within BG.
