Who is Lord Soth?

    I think that's his name & I think he's in the Dragonlance realm but that's all I know. That is if that is right.
    Is he a good guy? Bad guy? Race? Class? Stats if possible? What books do you recommend reading/is he in? Are there any books to avoid?

    Bad guy. Knight of the Black Rose (his title and the title of a book about him). He's a death knight (a paladin who fell at the moment of death and returns as a powerful undead) and resides in the mists around Ravenloft. There are several campaigns (Dragonlance and Ravenloft) and a couple of books about him.

    A search of Amazon should give you a list of the books he's in. Someone made him in NWN2 (search the vault).

    I read the entire Dragonlance series back in the day... until every single character got their own offshoot book and it all became, meh.

    Still, I found Lord Soth to be a rather cool and well defined character. If I recall correctly he was bound by his particular 'Death Knight' ethos. But as his character progressed he began to show traits of independent thought, intuition and an ability to assess a situation so as not to act entirely upon 'the code' or first thoughts. Of course, he would never be truly altruistic- there would always be some benefit for himself whether immediately or down the track. A fearless undead warrior who was sane enough to say, 'yeah, that dragon-like God... I think I'll give that battle a miss. Where's some peasants I can repress?'

    Cool set of armour on the dude too. (Yes, there is a 'u' in armour. I'm Australian, lol).
