I was just given Dragon Age:Inquisition for Christmas, and some looking into it seems to indicate that the specs are kinda heavy.
First, I haven't even gotten around to buying Dragon Age:Origins or Awakening yet. Money's been tight, and I am straining my budget just spending $1-$5 at the quarterly library book sale for a used game when I'm having trouble making ends meet and paying the bills without racking up more credit card debt for things like food, medicine, insurance (mandatory car, mandatory health thanks to Obama) or broadband internet access to facilitate a job search.

My computer is now old. It's a Gateway DX4200-UB001A with a 2.5ghz AMD phenom 9550 quad-core processor, 6gb of RAM, and an ATI Radion 3450 video card.
Will I even be able to play the game enjoyably with those specs?

Should I hold off on it until I get some disposable income and can purchase the first two games? That may be a while, as I need to find a steady job and then pay off the credit card first. I'm almost broke.

A new computer is not in the works, nor any upgrades costing more than $20 including shipping. If this breaks such that I cannot repair it (I'm A+ certified), I'm stuck with a 1ghz XP system with 512mb of RAM until I get my next job.

It says my system fails on two points. I hope I can exchange it for Origins.
